API 5CT Perforated Pipe And Perforated Tubing Pup Joint
Coiled TUBING (CT for short) is a kind of coiled synthetic Tubing that can be wound on the drum according to the required length manufactured by the manufacturer. The outer diameter of the tubing is usually 0.75 "- 5", and the yield strength of the steel used ranges from 55000Psi to 120000Psi. At present, the longest oil pipe that can be wound by a single drum in commercial use is more than 9000 meters.
Pup Joints are used to adjust the height of full length tubing or Casing strings.
They are also used to adjust the depth of downhole tools.
